The New Generation introduces a new breed of enemies, a secret coalition of allies, powerful Crusader Skills and expansions of the raid system, so you can coordinate large-scale attacks against an all-new raid boss - the towering Apostle.

New Crusader Skills

As you progress through the story, you'll complete objectives and unlock Crusader Skills (listed below). Each Crusader Skill provides modifiers that increase certain aspects of each skill's effect, and all three of the new skills share a single cooldown time. You can raise your Crusader Skills by completing Orders, and then use the points you earn to raise your sub-skill levels. You can distribute your sub-skills freely at any time, except when participating in a raid.

Shield of Trust - A buff that prevents its caster from being downed, with no effect from Paralyze (Numb), Silence, Slow, Mirage, Freeze, Bewildered, Blind, Freeze, Snow Storm, Shock or Stun. Applies to caster, party members, special NPCs (within range), and pets/party pets (within range).
  • Giving Heart - Increases the Range of Shield of Trust.
  • Healing Hands - Increases party member HP when using Shield of Trust.
  • Magic Dampening - Adds Magic Defense boost to Shield of Trust, affects all party members and squad members.
  • Guarded Footsteps - Adds a Speed Increase boost to Shield of Trust, affects all party members and squad members.
  • Recovering Touch - Heals wounds for all party members under the effect when using Shield of Trust.

Celestial Spike - Attack. Reduces enemy Speed and causes Divine Damage-over-time. Especially useful when battling Apostles.
  • Deepening Trust - Returns a portion of MP to Caster after using Celestial Spike.
  • Spreading Faith - Increases the casting range of Celestial Spike. Useful for pinning down an Apostle.
  • Wounding Soul - Increases Divine Damage-over-time.
  • Weighed Conscience - Allows Celestial Spike to affect a larger area. Enemies near the target suffer a reduction in speed.
  • Sinful Thorns - Increases Range of Celestial Spike effects. Enemies near the target also suffer Divine Damage.

Judgement Blade - Area-of-effect Divine Damage attack. Especially devastating against Apostles.
  • Stronger Power - Increases the Attack Range of Judgement Blade. Training this sub-skill improves Attack Range and Damage.
  • Binding Needle - Attaches a Stun effect to the skill. Training increases Stun duration. Extremely effective against Apostles.
  • Breaking Likes - Allows Judgement Blade to temporarily reduce Apostle Defense. Training increases effectiveness.
  • Christening Blades - Increases Critical Damage of Judgment Blade.
  • Holy Vitality - Recovers caster's Stamina when using Judgement Blade.

New Raid: The Apostle

  • Form a 16-person party and participate in qualifying Raid Missions
  • Currently only the Apostle Raid is supported
