A New Dawn for Dungeons

The dungeons of Mabinogi contain the greatest threats in Erinn, battles to test the skills you've honed over the many battles that came before. With the release of the Rabbie Phantasm Dungeon, we've gone back and permanently improved nearly every Dungeon in Mabinogi, adding an improved Dungeon pass system, boosting their rewards and more.

To celebrate the brace of changes below, we have a pair of events hitting as well, as the Uladh Dungeon Revamp Event and Uladh Dungeon Login Rewards are in play for the next four weeks!

Major Dungeon Changes

The following Dungeons have received the noted improvements below:

Mangled Dungeon Passes

• Find Mangled Dungeon Passes while fighting in any Dungeon
• Use the Handicraft skill to restore Mangled Dungeon Passes into Advanced Mode Passes
• Restorative potions to repair Mangled Dungeon Passes can be purchased from the NPC Researcher

Poulnabrone Rock has been added west of Dunbarton. Speaking to it allows you to teleport to any of the revamped dungeons:

Revamped Dungeon Reward Items
You can obtain new items from the Dungeon Clear Treasure Box:

• New Craftable Weapons have been added.
  
  • Celtic Tetra Cylinder
  • Celtic Edged Knuckle
• Craftable Destructive Robes, Gloves and Shoes have been added
• +7 Upgrade Stone
  • These new upgrade stones are required for +7 Special Upgrade, and they can also be crafted with materials found within the Uladh Dungeon
• New Consumable Items
  • Production Enhancement Potion: You can receive the additional success rate bonus when you craft items using each production skill.
  • Special Firewood: This additionally increases the success rate when burning enchants.
  • These items can also be crafted with materials found within the Uladh Dungeon
• Significantly Increase the Amount of Gold Available as Rewards
  • The amount of gold you can obtain from the Uladh Dungeon has also been significantly increased
• Treasure Chests may now appear at dead ends in Dungeons

Additional Changes

• Players are able to re-enter dungeons after a disconnection, if they log back in within 5 minutes
• Players can now purchase Wings of Goddess from NPC Researcher to teleport to the Poulnabrone Rock
• All dungeon keys will now show a new animation when picked up by a player or when dropped on the ground
• Any Guild Stones near Poulnabrone Rock's location have been permanently moved to the area noted below:
  

Uladh Dungeon Revamp Event

Event Dates: Thursday, Aug. 11 – Wednesday, Sept. 14

Event Details:

• Special Buff Event: Earn 2x Combat EXP while running any dungeons
• Log in to receive the quest [Event] Researcher's Favor and Wings of a Blue Goddess (Poulnabrone)
• Use the Wings to transport to Poulnabrone. There you can speak to NPC Researcher and select a main character to participate in this event. Once selected, it cannot be changed
• Talk to the NPC Researcher every day to select daily assignments to investigate the following dungeons:
  • Alby Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Ciar Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Math Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Rabbie Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Barri Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Coill Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Fiodh Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Rundal Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Peaca Basic Fomor Dungeon
  • Fomor Passes can be purchased to enter the dungeons and up to 5 dungeons can be investigated daily.
  • Complete the dailies to receive a Dungeon Scouting Report. Trade these reports in to the NPC Researcher to claim any of these rewards.
