What's New


1. New Rebirth System

You can now rebirth for FREE when your character is older than 20! We have introduced a new Rebirth System which allows characters who are 20 years of age or older to rebirth to reset their age, character level and exploration level. Paid rebirth through character card purchases can be done once a week compared to three weeks of the previous rebirth system and cosmetic or gender changes will only be possible through paid rebirth.

2. New Continent

Iria has come and there are many adventures for you to experience. Go to base Quilla Base Camp as a human explorer and seek Physis, the Frozen Tundra of the Giants, or face the Arid Sands of Filia, where the Elves dwell.


3. New Races

We are proud to introduce the addition of two new playable races into the world of Mabinogi. Play as either Elves or Giants and live the long standing battle between the feuding factions.

4. New Skills

Check out all the new skills which have been introduced with the expansion, Mabinogi: Pioneers of Iria.

- Mirage Missile: Use this Elf skill to damage opponents over a period of time.
- Elven Magic Missile: Transform your Elf into Beast Mode to use this magic based ranged attack.
- Stomp: This attack will damage any unlucky enemy that happens to be in the vicinity of a Giant using this skill.
- Giant Full Swing: Giants in Beast Mode can use this skill to unleash their fury.
- Final Hit: Be wary of any human who possesses this skill. These warriors have the ability to teleport next to their foes and deliver devastating blows.
- Dual wielding: Humans and Giants can equip two weapons.
- Ice Spear: Train in the magical arts and learn to focus the element of ice to inflict pain upon your foes.


5. New Quests

Iria brings a set of new quests that will challenge your skills and wits. Look for the Exploration Quest Boards located in the towns throughout Iria. These quests will have you hunt dangerous monsters, seek buried treasures, and uncover hidden artifacts.


6. New Pets

Check out the new pets in our Cash Shop.

- White Cotton Ostrich: This lovable Ostrich can carry two people on its back and will tap dance to music. Now who doesn’t like tap-dancing Ostriches?
- Black Cotton Ostrich: Do you want to go fast? Then this is the pet for you. Black Ostriches can use the skill “rush” which allows them to dash for a limited amount of time.
- Alaskan Husky: These white furry friends are strong enough to pull you on sleds all across Physis.
- Malamute: They say that these guys are descendent of wolves and are tough enough to pull sleds across the snow; however, their cute little faces say otherwise.

7. New Items

Look for these new items in the Mabinogi Item Shop

- Arrow (1000): Purchase this item to help you carry extra arrows!
- Bolt (1000): Purchase this item to help you carry extra bolts!

Mabinogi Revolutionized!


1. Main Storyline Quests

All Characters will now be able to enjoy the G1, G2, and G3 Main Storyline quests for FREE! Complete these quests to acquire the Paladin or Dark Knight Skills.


2. Transformation Skills

Players will not need to purchase Premium Services in order to use their transformation skills anymore. This will include Elf and Giant Beast Mode transformations as well as Human Paladin or Dark Knight transformations.


3. Spirit Weapons

Spirit Weapons are now free for everyone. Talk to Aodhan with a 100 proficiency weapon to start the quest. You will be able to raise, equip, fight and do spirit awakening skills with your spirit weapon without premium services!

5. Unlimited Nao and Storage Service until level 30!

If all of the characters in the account are below cumulative level 30, that account will be eligible for automatic free Nao Support and Extra Storage services until one of the characters reaches level 30.
