G20: The Gate of Sanctuary

It has been a time of troubles for the Alban Knights. The attacks by the Prophets have taxed their soldiers and shown that Erinn is not as safe as it once seemed... and now something new and terrible has seeped into Tir Chonaill. Human bodies, glowing with a golden energy before rising from the dead. Those that have completed G19's story can speak to Talvash in Tir Chonaill to get started with G20 and discover The Gate of Sanctuary!

Squires of Baltane

War has few constants, but two parts remain true: You need soldiers to fight in them, and they won't all return. No matter how well you fight, eventually new soldiers will need to be trained, and the Alban Knights have given you that honor.

Alban Knights Baltane Special Unit Details

• The Alban Knights need your help to train new Knights! Create a Special Unit, send them on missions and train them! 
• Head to Avalon gate by using the Alban Knights Letter of Recommendation found in your inventory, or click on the Enter Camp button found on the Special Unit tab in your Character Info
• You will be able to recruit 3 of the 6 Squires, additional Squires can be recruited with a special item obtained from the Cash Shop
  
  • Logan - A kind, friendly, yet well-trained warrior
  • Dai - An argumentative and vibrant Squire, though you may need to win him over
  • Eirlys - An elegant, dignified squire full of pride and confidence, she is not afraid to voice her opinion
    
  • Kaour - A stoic and slightly cold Squire, a little warmth might open him up
  • Elsie - A shy, adorable squire full of potential, a little training will go a long way with her 
  • Kanna - A hopeful, innocent, and kind-hearted Squire, you know she'll put 100% into her training to become the best
• Even though the Squires are in training, they are people too. Increase Likability by talking about subjects they are interested in
• Have fun exploring and discovering everything you can do with your Squires!
• Shuan, an NPC who helps with various tasks, can be found in Avalon Gate where the Squires reside and offers the following services:
  • Baltane Supplies Shop - purchase Baltane Supply Boxes and Alban Knights Training Stone Boxes that contain new crafting materials, Alban Knights Training Stones, and other useful consumables
  • Shuan's Information - Find out more about the squires to increase your Likability with them, Shuan will ask for items in return
  • Leave Avalon Gate - Return to Erinn
  • Help - View guides on managing your Baltane Special Unit

Divine Skill Changes

G19 saw the addition of the Divine Knights' central abilities, the Divine Skills. With G20, a brand new set of Divine Skills have been added, and a few of the previous set have been improved to grow even stronger.

New Divine Skills

• Divine Link - A skill that links the souls of two beings. A special object is required to link souls, but using your Pet as the target removes these limitations. Linking souls increases stats and your Pet is able to receive the identical amount of EXP as the caster when an enemy is defeated
• Enlightened Vision - A subskill that grants the caster additional EXP when souls are linked through Divine Link
  • Your Pet will also gain more EXP through Soul Link
  • Gain more EXP as the action of gaining EXP repeats
  • Skill unlocks once Divine Link has been successfully used 50 times or more
  • Level 1 Effect: Caster's EXP gain while souls are linked gives 3% increase
• Divine Liberty - A subskill that increases your Pet's attack when souls are linked through Divine Link
  • Your Pets gets stronger as it protects you and defeats enemies
  • Skill unlocks once your Pet defeats 300 or more enemies while souls are linked
  • Level 1 Effect: When linked, increase your Pet's minimum damage to 15, and Max Damage to 30
• Guardian Oath - A subskill that increases your Pet's stun resistance chance when souls are linked through Divine Link
  • Skill unlocks once your Pet is hit 100 times while souls are linked
  • Level 1 Effect: When linked, Pet's Stun Resistance is 30%
• Soul Restoration - a subskill that increases your Pet's HP recovery speed, and the recovered HP amount also heals wounds when souls are linked through Divine Link
  • Skill unlocks when your Pet's HP falls below 10% when souls are linked through Divine Link
  • Level 1 Effect: When linked, Pet's HP recovery speed is 800% and healed HP amount also heals wounds
• Sacred Revival - A subskill that allows your Pet to be revived instantly when souls are linked through Divine Link
  • Skill unlocks when your Pet becomes incapacitated 10 times while souls are linked
  • Level 1 Effect: When linked, 1x instant revival if your Pet is unconscious

Divine Skill Rebalances

• Shield of Trust
  • Shield of Trust cooldown has been reduced
  • Sub Skill - Healing Hands recovers more HP after level 7
  • Sub Skill - Magic Dampening has increased Magic Deefense after level 7
• Celestial Spike
  • Celestial Spike cooldown has been reduced
  • Sub Skill - Spreading Faith now has increased range from Level 1
  • Sub Skill - Weighted Conscience now further reduces movement speed
  • Sub Skill - Sinful Thorns attack damage has been increased
  • Sub Skill - The member limit from acquiring Deepening Trust has been removed
• Judgment Blade
  • Judgment Blade cooldown has been reduced from 40 seconds to 20 seconds
  • Judgment Blade preparation has been decreased from 5 seconds to 2.5 seconds
  • Judgment Blade attack range angle has been changed from 25 degrees to 60 degrees
  • Sub Skill - Stronger Power has increased attack range after level 7
  • Sub Skill - Breaking Lies has increased defense break after level 5

New Items

A new story, new abilities and new students to train not enough? A gross of new items have also made their way to Mabinogi! Grab the following items in your quest to defend Erinn:

• Divine Tribolt Wand - A wand specialized for casting intermediate bolt magic. You can also perform Meditation while running with this wand
• Divine Blade - A heavy two-handed sword that deals critical damage for those who can handle it
• Divine Bastard Sword - A one-handed sword, not only does it have great attack speed, but its Max Attack and Min Attack are very high
• Divine Short Lance - Smaller than other lances, but strikes deep and does critical damage with its sharpness
• Divine Crossbow - A crossbow ornamented on the outside, but is coated with strong metal underneath. It can pierce an enemy in a second and deal critical damage
• Divine Shield - A shield that blesses the owner from head to toe without the need to cast a spell. It is strong against magic attacks and allows for high levels of damage absorption when used with a defense skill
• Caswyn's Armor Set has been added
  • Use the new crafting materials to create the set which includes armor, gauntlets, and greaves
• Pihne's Armor Set has been added
  • Use the new crafting materials to create the set which includes armor, gauntlets, and greaves
• Divine Magic Powder - an item that is more powerful than Ancient Magic Powder
• Crusader EXP Potion - gives you Crusader EXP when consumed. Obtained from Baltane Supply Boxes
• Basic Baltane Seal - collect these seals and trade them to Shuan for training supplies. Obtained by completing Baltane Special Unit Missions
• Intermediate Baltane Seal - collect these seals and trade them to Shuan for training supplies. Obtained by completing Baltane Special Unit Missions
• Advanced Baltane Seal - collect these seals and trade them to Shuan for training supplies. Obtained by completing Baltane Special Unit Missions
