The highly anticipated Mabinogi Open Beta is OFFICIALLY launching today at 3PM PST.
Please read the message below carefully BEFORE participating in Mabnogi Open Beta.
1. Q: What is ‘24-Hour FilePlanet Exclusive’?
A: Mabinogi Open Beta will launch exclusively to FilePlanet users for 24hr starting 3/05/08
3PM PST. If you are not a FilePlanet user, Mabinogi Open Beta will begin on 3/06/08
3PM PST. Please read the following instructions to access Mabinogi today.
- Go to fileplanet.com and signup for a free fileplanet account by clicking [HERE].
- Go to Mabinogi page in FilePlanet by clicking on the link below and login.

NOTE: This FilePlanet page will be active starting 3/05/08 2PM PST.
- You will receive a special activation code from this page.
- After receiving this code, click on the link below to activate your Nexon ID for
Open Beta.

NOTE: If you are a new user from FilePlanet, make sure to sign up for a free
Nexon ID.
- After successful activation, you will be able to install and enjoy Mabinogi Open Beta.
2. Q: Where can I download Mabinogi Client?
A: During this FilePlanet exclusive period, you can only download Mabinogi client from
FilePlanet. Client will be available for download at official Mabinogi website after
3/06/08 3PM PST.
3. Q: I received ‘Web registration required (30099)’ error message when I tried to log
into Mabinogi.
A: If you receive ‘Web registration required (30099)’ error message when trying to log
into the game, it means that you have not activated your Nexon ID as a FilePlanet
user. Please follow the instructions above to resolve this problem.
4. Q: Do I have to re-install Mabinogi client if I played during Closed Beta and Pre-Open Beta?
A: No, the client will automatically update itself with newest patch files.
5. Q: I received 'Error occurs while extracting. If the problem persists please reboot and
retry' error message when I tried to install the client. What should I do?
A: Please reboot and try installing the client again. If the same error occurs, follow
the instructions below to fix the problem.
- Open the 'Windows Task Manager' and click on 'Processes' tab.
- Find and highlight 'npkcmsvc.exe' and click End Process button.
- When 'Task Manager Warning' window pops up, click on Yes and proceed.
- After confirming that 'npkcmsvc.exe' process is no longer running, try reinstalling
the client.
