Summer's here and Erinn is definitely heating up in more ways than one! The war with the Fomors is getting hotter and we're issuing a call for more warriors to rally to the side of the goddess! Be sure to read all about Project RM and head over to the forum thread in our Community Spotlight if you have any questions. Summer also means it's time to head to the beach so we've got some awesome beach fashions available for all characters along with some fun new friends who just washed up on shore! Ferghus is at it again with a decidedly unusual Gachapon update and you get your own chance to be starnge in our questions of the week. All this and the return of the Tara Festival! Check out everything that happened this week in Erinn and remember, don't grow up too quickly, lest you forget how much you love the beach

The Tara Festival is Back!
The Tara Festival is back! We've had such good feedback for the Tara Festival that we felt it necessary to bring it back, as the summer is in full swing! To assist you in participating in the revived event, we have released FREE Waxen Wings in the Cash Shop that will allow you to warp directly to the Tara region! You will only be able to pick up one of these Waxen Wings ONCE a day and they must be used in 24 hours, else they expire.

Get iced on the beaches of Erinn!
Lorna and Pan are at it again! Last time, they asked Mabinogians to join a Red or Blue team and attempt to steal each other's flag. This time, they've taken their feud to the beaches near Port Ceann. Instead of using weapons to stop your opponents, you will need to speak to either Lorna or Pan with both hands empty. As you enlist yourself in the Red or Blue team, you will notice a bin full of ripe, juicy watermelons! Yum! Your task will be to steal watermelons from the opposing team.

Soldier Gachapon Update!
Well, Mabinogians, here’s the deal. For the longest time, Ferghus has been begging those of us toiling away at the office to let him put together his own batch of Gachapon. For over a year, we politely sidestepped his requests, but we’ve run out of excuses. That’s why this next batch of Ferghus-created soldier Gachapon is rather...special.

What kinds of bizarre, funny, or unusual weapons would you like to wield in Mabinogi?
We thought Ferghus was crazy when we let him put a few... unusual items in the Soldier Gachapon update. It turns out he's got nothing on Mabinogians when we let your imaginations run wild. ow, when we let your imagination go wild, you really don't hold back! Who knew you wanted to use so many weird, wild and wonderful items as weapons.
A few mentioned wanting pillows (and the pajamas to go with them) for a pillow fight, There were many, many food items from big candy canes to tunas to rubber chickens to pies. Finally there were a few people who went straight to our hearts (in more ways than one) with Nature's most perfect creation -- bacon! "I'd like to see a disco ball. I think this would be an interesting item. How about a hat rack? The thought of players running around whacking Fomors with a hat rack really makes me laugh, but I'd also like to see some sort of giant bag with it. "I first thought a toilet plunger is the perfect silly weapon to receive from a gachapon, but quickly decided against it because I thought a thousand other people who respond will also think of this. Then I noticed if a thousand other people would agree that a toilet plunger is the perfect "silly" object to wield as a weapon in Mabinogi, then that is indeed the perfect response. The usage would be simple, immature, and the definition of silly. Watch your character swing a plunger at a Fomor in an attempt to 'defend humanity one plunge at a time!'" – Andrew R.
