What is a Pet Expedition?

  • Using the Pet Expedition Bulletin Board from your Homestead, form a team of pets to send on an expedition.
  • The composition of these squads matters when it comes to the success of the mission. There is a huge number of combinations of pets you can send out on these ventures!
  • Collect pets of all types, send them out on expeditionary ventures, and claim the vast treasures that await!

Pet Expedition Bulletin Board

  • ‘[Guide] Thrilling Pet Expedition!’ - You will obtain the Pet Expedition Bulletin Board item in your exclusive inventory upon completing this quest.
    • Only 1 Pet Expedition Bulletin Board can be installed in the Homestead.
    • The inventory size is 2x2, and the installation size is 1x3. The color of the prop is fixed upon installation.
  • The Pet Expedition Bulletin Board can only be installed if your Homestead level is 4 or above, and your character is not a novice.
    • In case the item is lost, you can still install It by using the required materials (Large Nails x5 and Wood Board x10).
  • Using the installed Pet Expedition Bulletin Board, you’ll be able to check the list of available expeditions for your pets.

Expeditions

  • These are assigned based on the character's cumulative level, and they are categorized into Normal Expeditions, Today's Expeditions, and Special Expeditions.
    • Normal Expeditions: Four are assigned each day, and the basic reward changes based on the completion time.
    • Today's Expeditions: (Blue Marking) One random expedition from the Normal Expeditions will be selected as Today's Expedition. There is a 15% chance to trigger a Huge Lucky Bonus.
    • Special Expeditions: (Red Marking) These expeditions may not appear on the list of expeditions, as they are assigned based on chance. You will be rewarded more handsomely compared to a regular expedition, as the completion time will take much longer.
  • Including the Special Expeditions, a maximum of 5 expeditions will be given per day, and a new list of expeditions will be assigned daily at 7:00 AM PDT.
    • An expedition identical to the one you're currently tasked with can be given again.
    • An expedition that you've already claimed or started on will not be refreshed until 7:00 AM PDT the next day.
  • The list of expeditions that you can partake in may be different for each of the characters on your account.
    • You cannot send pets on another expedition if you already have 12 or more expeditions currently in progress.
  • The success rate will be decided based on the number of pets, their pet types, as well as the stats of the pets that you've selected.
  • You can choose up to a maximum of 3 pets per expedition.
  • Pets that are currently exploring or resting are restricted from other activities until they are done with what they’re doing.
    • These pets cannot be summoned, rebirthed, or deleted.

Pet List

  • Pets that are currently summoned, knocked out, or pending deletion are displayed on the list, but cannot be sent to the expedition.
  • You can lock certain pets with a right-click from the pet list.
    • Locked pets will be grayed out, and will be excluded from the expedition and the Auto-Formation feature.

Auto-Formation

  • Depending on the pet type required by the expedition that you’ve currently selected, this feature will automatically assign applicable pets to the team in the order of your pet list.

    • A buff icon will be displayed if the pet that you placed on the expedition slot fulfills the pet type preferred for the selected expedition.

      • A debuff icon will be displayed if the pet that you placed on the expedition slot has a pet type that is disadvantageous for the selected expedition.

Pet Types

  • Different expeditions will favor different pet types.
  • A single pet possesses up to a maximum of 4 types, which you are able to check from the Pet Information Window.
    • Creature or not: Creature / Inanimate Object alt_text
    • Able to fly: Flying / Terrestrial alt_text
    • Size: Small / Medium / Large alt_text
    • Appearance: Carpet / Spider / Car / Scooter / Cat / Dog / Horse / Cow / Seal / Fairy / Bird / Sheep / Broom / Monkey / Fox / Deer / Dragon / Bear / Mimic / Ghost / Elephant / Balloon / Snake / Penguin / Crab / Cloud / Alpaca / Mouse / Pig alt_text

Pet Fatigue

  • Pets will gain 1 fatigue per expeditionary venture that they finish.
    • Pets will not gain fatigue if you cancel their current expedition.
  • Pets whose fatigue level is 3 or higher cannot partake in another expeditionary venture.
    • The fatigue level will reset to 0 when the pet rebirths, rests in a Pet House in the Homestead, or at 12:00 PM PDT Saturday.
    • The fatigue will reset to 0 at 12:00 PM PDT Saturday while an expedition is still in progress, but you will gain 1 fatigue upon clicking ‘Expedition Complete’.
    • The fatigue will reset to 0 if you transfer a pet with fatigue to an adoption medal.

Rewards

You can check the status of the expeditions currently in progress through the Pet Expedition Bulletin Board.

[Cancel Expedition]

  • You won’t receive any rewards for the expedition, and your pets will return empty-handed.
    • The expedition that you cancel will disappear from the list of expeditions, and you will no longer be able to send another expedition team to do it.

[Expedition Complete]

  • The Homestead icon will blink, and a system chat message will be displayed when the pet expedition is complete.
  • You can obtain a basic reward, as well as bonus rewards upon completing each of the pet expeditions.
    • Basic Reward
      • These are the rewards that can be acquired upon completing expeditions.
      • You acquire character EXP, character exploration EXP, pet EXP, and gold.
      • The exploration EXP that is given is not affected by any bonus attribute from the character's items and skills.
    • Bonus Rewards
      • These are the rewards that can be acquired when you score a Huge Lucky Bonus.
      • Additional rewards will be determined based on the characteristics of the expedition.

Pet House

What is a Pet House? The Pet House is a Homestead prop from which you obtain rewards by allowing pets to rest inside. [Browse the Pet House]

  • You can check the list of Pet Houses that can be installed on your Homestead. You can only install 1 per type.
    • Examples:
      • Pet Houses of identical types such as the Cloud Cushion (Stage 1) and Cloud Cushion (Stage 2) cannot be installed together.
      • Pet Houses of different types such as the Cloud Cushion (Stage 1) and Cat Tower (Stage 2) can be installed together.

  • The Pet Houses that you install can be upgraded in stages.
  • The Pet House of the default stage will disappear upon performing an upgrade, and only the upgraded prop will remain.
  • Deleting the Pet House will convert it into a non-tradable prop item.
  • You cannot delete or upgrade a Pet House while a pet is resting within it.

Pet House Information

  • The time it takes when it comes to installation or resting happens in real time, and time will continue to pass even while you are logged out.
  • Just like other existing Homestead props, the Pet Houses can be painted too.
  • It takes 18 minutes to construct or upgrade any pet house.
  • It takes 36 minutes for a pet to finish resting fully.

Rest System

  • Click on the resting area of the Pet House to have your pet rest there.
  • Only the types of pets that are eligible to rest in the selected Pet House will display on the list.
  • The resting area will display with a sparkling effect, and you can have a pet rest only on that spot.
  • The resting progress will display at the bottom of your pet. Clicking on a resting pet will allow you to check the progress of resting, or stop/finish resting.

  • When the pet finishes resting in the Pet House, the [Pause Rest] button will change to the [Rest Finished] button.
  • You can claim the rewards from resting by clicking the [Rest Finished] button, and the buffs you obtained while your pet was resting will disappear.

Resting Effect

  • While your pets are resting in the Pet House, you will receive various buffs based on the kind of Pet House they are resting in.
  • When the resting time is completed and the pet status changes to [Rest Finished] button status, the resting effect is still maintained.
  • Just like the Homestead Figures, only the highest stat effects from identical ones will be applied.
  • The effects from Homestead Figures and the Pet House Rest effects will stack. (Homestead Figures + Homestead Sequel Figures + Pet House Rest effects)

    Fully Rested Rewards

    • Depending on the type of the Pet House, the rested pet's EXP will rise, and the fatigue will reset to 0 as a reward for fully resting.
      • Examples:
        • Cloud Cushion and Pet Pasture: 30,000 Pet EXP
        • Cat Tower and Stable: 80,000 Pet EXP

    Homestead UI

    • Your character can check on Homestead information from outside the Homestead by clicking the Homestead button, or by pressing the hotkey (U).
    • You can check the information about Research Tasks, Pet Rest Info, Pet Expeditionary Ventures and Crop Harvesting occurring within your Homestead.

    • From inside the Homestead, you can check the 'Homestead Character Bonus Effects'.
      • This will list a sum of all the effects currently applied from your props.
    • Hovering your mouse over the bonus effect will show you the name of the prop that's responsible for the pertinent effect, as well as the values of the bonus on a tooltip.
