1. The Fomor Command Scroll: Master the information on Field Bosses!
As you explore the continent of Iria and battle the monsters, you will receive a [Fomor Command Scroll] notifying you of a Field Boss.
You can use this scroll to inform other adventurers in Erinn when and where the Field Boss will appear.
When you use the Fomor Scroll, NPCs in every region are informed of the Field Boss monsters so that other adventurers who speak with the NPCs using the [Nearby Rumors] keyword can also become aware of the news. ,
2. The Powerful Field Bosses in Rano
The Field Boss monsters you can find in Rano are the Desert Dragon, the Prairie Dragon and the Giant Sandworm.
These monsters, in comparison to Field Boss monsters in other regions, are bigger in size and either fly or teleport under the sand.

1) The Desert Dragon
The Desert Dragon has significantly high HP, and special attack skills including the Petrifying Roar and the Fire Breath; hence, the Desert Dragon is notorious amongst the adventurers in Erinn.
On land, the Desert Dragon uses the Tail attack, Dash attack, and the Petrifying Roar; while it uses the Fire Breath in the air that make this Field Boss difficult to defeat. It is strongly encouraged that you strategize with others to defeat this monster.
- Location of Appearance
They appear in the central as well as the southern regions of Kaypi Canyon, located north of Qilla Base Camp.

- The Escape of the Desert Dragon
The Desert Dragon may attempt to escape when its HP is running low. If you do not take any measures at this time, the Desert Dragon will successfully flee from its disadvantaged situation.
When the Field Boss makes an attempt to escape, you can prevent the escape and proceed with the battle if the bards successfully play the [Music of Peace].

You can yield the effects of the Music of Peace when you successfully compose while your [Composing] skill is above rank 9; furthermore, when you play while your [Instrument-Playing] skill is above 9, the effects will randomly apply.
2) The Prairie Dragon
The Prairie Dragon, too, is one of the powerful Boss Field monsters that can fly and attack by using the Petrifying Roar, Fire Breath, and Dash attack much like the Desert Dragon.
The Prairie Dragon can escape after 30 minutes of real time, so you must defeat this Field Boss as quick as possible.

3) The Giant Sandworm
As its name implies, the Giant Sandworm can be found deep in the sands of a desert. This Field Boss usually remains in the beneath the dunes of the desert, but makes an appearance above surface once in a while. Once surfaced, this monster will remain on the surface level for about 30 minutes in real time. Note that two of these monsters will appear at once.
The Giant Sandworm can move rather swiftly under sand, during which you will not be able to inflict any damage with an attack; hence, you must wait until the monster surfaces in order to battle, so a strategic planning is required of you in terms of timing.

The Giant Sandworm is found in the Central Muyu Desert.

3. The Powerful Field Bosses in Connous
In Connous, you can find Ifrit, who is notorious for its power and the threatening role it plays amongst the Elves. Hence, it is known as the curse of flame.
The turbulence from Ifrit striking the weapon down with incredible power can inflict damage on nearby characters. This Field Boss also uses the Windmill skill, and summons Burning Lizards, the Salamanders, to attack. It is strongly encouraged that you battle this monster with others for your safety and success.
- Location of Appearance
Ifrit can be located in two places. The first place where Ifrit can be spotted is the central corridor of the Underground Maze in Longa.
Another location where Ifrit appears is the Central Longa Desert.

4. The Powerful Field Bosses in Physis
Physis is a region that is always covered in snow. There are countless number of monsters in Physis, and the Yeti and the Mammoth are the Field Bosses that surpass the powerful of other monsters in Physis. Said monsters are gigantic in size, but don’t let their seemingly dense or dull image fool you; they are readily equipped with high HP and powerful melee attack abilities that can hinder you from inflicting damage on them.
The Yeti and the Mammoth can be found in one of the six locations marked in the image provided below.

1) The Yeti
The Yeti, as expected, is a gigantic snow monster.
It is strongly encouraged that you team up with others to battle the Yeti as the White Snowfield Bears will accompany this Field Boss.

2) The Mammoth
Unlike the Yeti, the Mammoth appears by itself, but this monster has even higher HP than the Yeti which renders it a difficult monster to defeat.
