Mirage Missile
skill
Elves have always been renowned for their mastery of the bows, and Mirage Missile is the skill that’s exclusive to the Elves that is so effective, it not only damages those that are hit by it, but the monster in the vicinity of the target as well!

This guide will entail the steps from acquiring the skill all the way to using it on helpless monsters.

1. Learning the Mirage Missile

In order to learn the skill, you will have to visit the head of Elves, [Castanea]. Talk to [Castanea] using the keyword [Skills] for a quick introduction of the skill, followed by a question whether you are willing to learn the skill or not.

[Castanea]
Infuse mana into your bow and attack the enemy, your opponent, hit by the arrow, will continuously lose HP. There’s a skill that actually makes the effects spread through to other enemies standing nearby as well…

What do you say? Would you like to give it a try?

If you click on [Ok], then you will receive a new quest called [Mirage Missile].

To learn Mirage Missile, it’s a must for you to acquire [Elemental Crystal], and in order to do so, you’ll need to find a [Yellow Heart of a Giant Stone Statue]. The Giant Stone Statue can be found just north of the southernmost Mana Tunnel of Longa Desert.

Giant Stone Statue is one of the hidden artifacts of Connous, which means it’s a must for you to find one using L-Rod. Since most of these artifacts are buried underneath the desert, you’ll need to carry the [Cold Wind L-Rod] with you to alter the landscape.

Once you have found the Giant Stone Statue, empty out your hand and click on the statue to attempt the gathering of the Yellow Heart. Sooner or later, you will successfully gather up the [Yellow Heart of the Giant Stone Statue], but it’s a must that you find this piece fast, since the Giant Stone Statue appears only for a set amount of time before re-disappearing.

Once you have successfully gathered up the [Yellow Heart of Giant Stone Statue], you can take the item back to Castanea and start a conversation. Castanea will then help you extract the [Elemental Crystal] from the [Yellow Heart of Giant Stone Statue].

Next, take that [Elemental Crystal] with you as you clear a Longa Desert Dungeon.

After defeating all the monsters in the Boss Room of Longa Desert Ruins Dungeon, you will finally acquire the skill [Mirage Missile].

* This can only be acquired by creating a regular Longa Desert Dungeon and clearing it from start to finish.

3. Using Mirage Missile

Any monster that received the brunt of Mirage Missile will have its HP decrease periodically for the sustained amount of time, and it may sometimes decrease up to 1, much like poisoning. That being said, this does not knock the target unconscious, so you must prepare yourself for the follow-up attack after the skill.

Once you use the Mirage Missile, the skill will use your MP, not your stamina. The effects of the skill will also catch on to monsters standing nearby the one that is struck with the skill.

* The higher the level of INT, the higher the damage becomes.
