An unexpected message from Ruairi and advice from Legatus.
If you’re ready to take up Iria’s fate and become the Gold Dragon’s Conductor, enter Renes where Crumena is waiting.
1) Crumena’s Conductor
When you enter Renes, you will meet Crumena, who has revealed his true intentions.
[Crumena]
Ha…. Legatus of Calida
has decided to personally get involved… Is that right?
But even still, don't tell me you have come here
chosen as Adniel's Conductor?
Your race is as foolish
as it is arrogant.
Adniel's Conductor can only be Atrata!
Only Atrata's darkness can swallow Adniel's light
and open the new era of the dragon race
that will arise from the Moonlight of Death.
I heard that Adniel's Conductor must willingly volunteer!
There's no way Atrata would have chosen that for herself!
[Crumena]
Ha! It was indeed Atrata herself
who willingly chose to become the Conductor.
Haha…. I believe this is what the people of this world
call…'sacrifice'?
The only way to end the
curse of Irinid on the elves
is the resurrection of the dragon that begins at the Moonlight of Death.
[Crumena]
Only the new world order from the dragons
can eradicate the curse of Irinid and
eliminate any last traces remaining on this land.

2) Battle with Crumena
Once your conversation has been completed, the battle to save Iria will commence.
As you’d expect from the leader of the Red Dragons, Crumena uses a very powerful attack.
But if you study his attacks carefully, you will be able to counter them.
First, Crumena’s Tail Attack causes great damage to the characters nearby.
You must back away at these times, as all characters within the radius of the attack will receive great damage.
Crumena’s Charge Attack leaves all characters in his path incapacitated.
If Crumena starts to run, note his direction and move to the side.
The Dragon’s howl will cause fear in animal characters summoned by their owners and may even cancel the summon.
Next is Crumena’s powerful Meteor Attack. If Crumena flies up, check the skies.
If meteorites appear, it means that the meteorites will soon fall to the ground. Characters who get hit by the meteorites will receive great damage.
In order to avoid Crumena’s Meteor Attack, you must estimate where the meteorites will fall and avoid that spot, or dig a hole in the ground using a Giant’s Stomp skill and hide in the hole.
Crumena uses the Fire Breath skill to attack characters in front of him. Move to the opposite side of the attack in order to avoid continuous damage.
Lastly, Crumena changes the weather and causes lightning to hit the ground.
Lightning falls over a very large area and will find the character’s location.
Lightning can be defended against using a Lightning Shield and damage will be lessened if many players use the Lightning Shield together.
While Crumena’s attacks may be powerful, you will more easily be able to defeat him if you attack his weaknesses.
You can block Crumena from using his Meteor attack by attacking his wings and causing a certain amount of damage to them before he flies up into the air. Also, you can inflict higher than normal damage by successfully using an attack with ice properties right before he uses Fire Breath or by attacking his head when he is howling.
Aside from those methods, if you focus your attacks on his tail and cause a certain amount of damage, he will no longer be able to use his tail. If you continuously attack his legs, his Charge speed will slow and make it easier for you to avoid it.
When HP reaches 0, a video clip will play.
3) The End of Crumena
[Crumena]
Haha… That was a close one.
For a second, I thought I was going to end up
like Cromm Cruaich.
But...!
Your annoying streak of luck ends here!

Atrata.

[Atrata]

[Crumena]
Ha! You even brought the Mirror Witch's unicorn…
Truly fitting for Vales' greatest warrior.
But it's no use...
You're all still a bunch of worthless bugs!
[Taunes]
Ahhh…
My…my eyes…!
[Atrata]
Taunes!!!
[Crumena]
You should've thought twice about getting off that unicorn.
Your uneasy movements
make it too obvious that your eyesight is bad.
Haha!
No wait.
Perhaps you're completely blind now?
Haha!!
[Atrata]
Stop it!!
You put one finger on Taunes
and I'll quit my duty as the Conductor!!
[Crumena]
Ha! Your entire race is in danger of
total annihilation due to the curse of Irinid,
and you're telling me you're going to betray your people and choose love instead?
Atrata, long before you were even born,
I predicted the fate regarding the Black-Haired Elf
and I have been carefully observing the entire process unfold.
Your fate will not allow you to betray your race!
[Atrata]
No, Crumena.
I know my own fate better than anyone else.
Taunes! Do you still remember the sound of the wind bell?
Use the Vastian now in the direction
of the wind bell sound!
Atrata throws the Wind Bell towards Crumena…
and Taunes makes an attack towards the sound of the Wind Bell,
ultimately knocking down Crumena.
Taunes and Atrata have finally reunited.
And Ruairi has arrived with Legatus.

4) Birth of the Gold Dragon
The moment the battle ends, the Dragon’s Egg starts to hatch.
And the Golden Dragon, Adniel appears!
[Adniel]
Listen.
Conductor of Adniel.
The small light which has been remembered as the first flame
will finally once again be remembered as the eternal flame of Renes
through the completed ceremony.
However, the dark fate of the land
that is flickering behind the shadow of the flame is not yet over.
Adniel disappears after warning that Iria’s danger is not over.
“Dragon,” Mabinogi’s Eighth Generation main storyline, has been completed.
A story that started in the deep jungles of Courcle and reached far away into Zardine. The conflict between the Elves and the Giants. It was a new adventure that crossed over the Udlah continent
Now that Crumena’s plot has been foiled, let us enjoy the peace in Erinn.

5) Epilogue
* The last battle with Crumena can be fought in a party of up to eight people.
* You can acquire the title [Dragon’s Knight] if you clear the G8 main storyline.
- Effect of the Dragon’s Knight title: Max HP +30, Max Mana +10, Max Stamina +10, Defense +2, Protection +2
* You can view Ruairi’s epilogue by clearing the G8 main storyline and reconnecting or waiting for fixed period of time.
